What is Huggles 'N Kisses:
Huggles 'N Kisses Fund is intended to raise awareness for Niemann-Pick Type C Disease.
Being a mother, I never would have expected for the doctors to tell me my child was affected by a fatal disease. But, knowing the obstacles that I face, I don't want to do it alone nor do I want for other families to have to feel that there's no where to go. So that's why we've developed this website. It's not for us to mourn about the bumpy road we face, but to celebrate the lives of NPC children-not just our own child who is affected. The NPC world is one big happy family and we must all embrace it to make the lives of those affected worth living.
Our Mission:
Other than raising awareness, the Huggles 'N Kisses Fund has several other goals:
Promote research to find a cure for our children
Propose a law called "Gavin's Law", where all babies born with jaundice in the state of Texas be tested for NPC.
